Returns Policy

Will & Bear Returns

We're almost certain you'll love your hat, but if you change your mind for any reason within 30 days of purchase we offer:

  • Australia: free exchange or a credit note
  • Rest Of World: credit note or refund

Returns are subject to the following conditions: 

Australia 

  • We offer a credit note or exchange within 30 days of purchase date for change of mind returns where the item meets the conditions of return. 
  • A “change of mind” return is when  a style is not meeting your desire of size, colour, fit or shape. Colours can look different on different screens; reach out to our team if you would like help.
  • Credit notes will be issued for the price paid for the items. Shipping is not returned unless the item is deemed faulty.
  • Exchanges are available where the size is available.
  • Free Return shipping labels are provided for Australian orders.
  • Refunds will not be offered for any purchases unless required by law (e.g if you have received an item deemed flawed/faulty).
  • 'Outlet' styles are excluded from the above - please see below.

Rest of world

  • We offer a credit note or refund within 30 days of purchase date for change of mind returns where the item meets the conditions of return. 
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping to Sydney, Australia.
    • We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
    • We note this can be costly and encourage you to enquire on the price with your national postal service before purchasing.

  • Brand new condition: unworn, not marked with tags attached.
  • Purchased from willandbear.com within 30 days of return submission. 
  • Sunscreen, E-cookbook and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned
  • If your item has a fault/flaw, please reach out to us orders@willandbear.com so that we can repair, replace or refund your item.
Outlet - Conditions of return
  • Outlet Styles are eligible for a credit note only within 30 days of purchase (unless deemed faulty). 
  • Australian customers will be provided with a prepaid label and have $9 deducted from their credit note. 
  • International customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

 Australian Customers:

  • Submit your return here
  • You’ll receive an email with a prepaid label (Australia Post can print your prepaid label for you).
  • Please send your hat back in the original box, or other sturdy box (please no satchels for wide brims)

      International Customers:

      • Customers outside of Australia are responsible for the cost of return shipping to Sydney, Australia. We recommend using the most economical tracked shipping service with your national postal provider.

      Next steps

      • Drop the package off at your local post office and hold onto your receipt of lodgement.
      • You'll receive an email once we receive your package back. After receiving this notification, please allow up to 5 business days for your return to be finalised. You will receive a second email when your return has been processed, and either a gift voucher or confirmation of your exchange item.

      Other important information:

      • Gift vouchers & credit notes are not eligible for a refund or redeemable for cash.
      • If you believe your item has a fault or you've received the wrong item, please contact our Customer Experience team at orders@willandbear.com with details and images of the fault. Our team will work to resolve this with absolute priority and will offer a repair/replacement/refund where required. 
      • If your item has recently gone on sale, unfortunately, we are unable to refund the difference between the original and discounted price.
      • Any item purchased from a boutique that stocks Will & Bear will need to be returned back to the store purchased from, as these stockists are independently operated.
      • Any styles marked ‘final sale’ are not eligible for an exchange or refund unless deemed faulty by our team and required by law. We kindly ask you to consider this before committing to a purchase.
      • Shipping costs are not refundable unless your item is considered faulty by our team.

      Australian Consumer Law

      Per Australian Consumer Law, if something you’ve purchased is deemed by us to have a minor flaw, we will assist to organise a replacement. If your item is deemed by us to have a major fault, you will have the option of a replacement, refund or store credit. Returns due to dissatisfaction or a change of heart are not eligible for a refund in Australia.

      Currumbin In-Store Returns
      For any purchases made at the Will & Bear store in Currumbin, we will happily offer you a store credit or exchange for change of mind on all full priced items that are:

      • In original condition; unworn with original tags attached
      • Returned with proof of purchase
      • Returned within 30 days of the purchase date
      • For any sale styles, exchanges are available within 7 days of purchase
      • Must be returned to the Will & Bear store in Currumbin

      In the unlikely event that your hat is faulty, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund to your original payment method.

      Your store credit will be issued using a physical gift card that can be used in the Currumbin Will & Bear store, or online at www.willandbear.com
