Our Tasman Travel Backpack is made from waxed canvas and leather, with an expandable roll-top design that increases its capacity from approximately 20 to 25 litres. A dedicated sleeve fits laptops up to 16 inches, while padded adjustable shoulder straps are designed for comfortable carrying. Its external attachment point also works with our Hat Carry Clips, giving you a simple way to carry a hat without packing it inside your bag.

Yes. The Tasman Travel Backpack includes a dedicated laptop sleeve designed to fit laptops up to 16 inches, keeping your device separate from the main compartment while travelling.
Brush away loose dirt and spot clean the waxed canvas with a damp cloth when needed. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents, as these can remove the wax coating. Over time, the canvas can also be re-waxed to refresh its finish and protective properties.
The Tasman has an expandable capacity of approximately 20–25 litres. The fold-top design gives you extra room when needed, making it suitable for everyday use, overnight trips and lightly packed weekends away.
Hats can be awkward to pack because they can lose their shape when compressed inside luggage. The Tasman includes an external attachment point designed to work with our Hat Carry Clips, allowing you to secure your hat to the outside of the backpack and carry it hands-free.
