Into the Wild Escapes, Volvo Car Australia and Will and Bear set the tone for a mindful day outdoors. From the first hello to the final toast, the focus was on simple pleasures and a shared love of nature.

Will & Bear, Volvo Car Australia and Into the Wild Escapes came together to host the Spring Long Lunch, a day devoted to connection with nature, mindful moments and good company. Set on the sunlit grounds that share the land with Tiny Madeline in Laguna New South Wales, guests were invited to slow down, share stories and celebrate conscious living.

Morning Rituals: Coffee and Creativity
With soft morning light streaming across the paddock, guests gathered around the ST ALi coffee and matcha cart — Melbourne’s masters of mindful brewing. The aroma of freshly roasted beans drifted through the air as everyone mingled and prepared for the day ahead.
Each guest received a reusable 35mm film camera by Surfolk, encouraging everyone to slow down and capture each moment with intention.
Handmade truffles from Loco Love brought mindful indulgence to the day. Simple sips, shared laughter and quiet photos on film created a rhythm that felt easy and grounded.

Grounding with Inner States
Before the feast began, Inner States led a grounding session that invited everyone to pause, breathe and reconnect — both inwardly and with the natural world around them. Guests gathered barefoot beneath the trees, the sun filtering softly through the branches, as the sounds of rustling leaves and distant birds became the backdrop for stillness.

What began as a simple grounding exercise became something more profound: a shared experience of calm, gratitude and reconnection. By the time the session ended, the energy had shifted — lighter, softer, and deeply connected — setting the tone for the long lunch that followed.

A Long Table in the Wild
The long table stretched beneath the dappled spring light, surrounded by wildflowers, eucalyptus and the soft hum of country air. Styled with Wandering Folk textiles — rich in earthy tones and intricate patterns — the setting felt both effortless and elevated. Each rug, cushion and linen detail told a story of craftsmanship and connection to the outdoors, creating a space that invited guests to slow down and stay awhile.

Drinks and a Feast to Share
We raised jars of classic lime from AZTECA Margarita and poured local drops from Noyce Brothers Wine. Lunch by The Wilderness Chef was generous and seasonal. Lebanese charred chicken with pickled onion and buttermilk ranch, roasted porchetta over braised Sicilian caponata, layered potato gratin, Dutch carrots with tahini and spiced almonds and a bright salad of tomato, zucchini and feta were shared family style.

The Setting: Tiny Madeline
Hosted at Anglesey Farm in Laguna, the grounds that share the land with Tiny Madeline created a calm scene for our Spring Long Lunch. The long table, styled with Wandering Folk pieces, welcomed conversation and connection.
