Nice hat - too small for 7 1-2 to 7 5/8 hat size

The Ranger Brown is a nice hat - soft material, simple design.

But.... it's too small. The strap in the back will adjust, but the amount of material in the actual hat is too little so it doesn't really sit down on my head. Maybe I was sent a defect, but I can't really wear this with a 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 hat size. I look like a little kid that doesn't know how to dress themselves yet. Bummer!
