I had high hopes for my Calloway Fawn hat, but was disappointed when it arrived. The size chart said I should be a Large, but the Large arrived too tight. Perhaps I can use a hat stretcher, but I doubt it. The material is also extremely stiff, making me question if it is truly made of wool. The rigidness of it also makes me wonder if it could ever ‘adapt’ to my head shape. It is too tight front to back, with gaps on the sides/temples. It also fits shallow on my head compared to my Stetson Stratoliner & Open Road hats. Seems like a good company, but this hat is truly disappointing

Thank you so much for reaching out! I can see that our Customer Experience team has already been in touch regarding the fit and feel of your order. As the Calloway has a shallower crown, it can sit a little differently depending on your head shape.
If you would prefer a style of hat that sits lower and is made from a soft wool, I would recommend our William which is lovely and soft, moulds to your head and is very comfy to wear.

The Calloway wide brim Fedora is the perfect fit, perfect weight and provides me with confidence against UV rays.
I’ve looked for ages for the perfect style hat to protect me from the sun and at the same time look stylish. I could find similar style hats, but not the perfect style. This hat has brought many compliments. I was worried that it might be too heavy for these very hot days here in the UK, but the Calloway is more comfortable than my trucker caps. This is my second Calloway hat from Will & Bear, and yes, it’s a shame I have to get them from Australia, but it's worth it because many companies offer something similar but they don't match the fit, sturdiness and cut of the Calloway. I love the hat. I am new to wearing hats but need to avoid the sun and love this as my first. I’m finding the biggest thing is a perfect fit and while the inserts help, I’m probably somewhere in between a large and an extra large in your size sizes. I would love to have a custom fit hat, and I love your styles. let me know if you ever plan something like that. Thanks, Brian.
